We mainly use mashers for making mashed potatoes but they can be used for a variety of tasks. Every product of theirs we have handled is well crafted and designed to last for many years to come.The masher wires are solidly set into the epoxy filled stainless steel portion of the handle making the whisk sturdy and fully sealed for sanitation and cleaning.The wood handle is slightly slimmer than the stainless steel handled version of the potato masher, which means it is easier for those with smaller hands to handle and it is easier to hold in a pencil style grip. However, one can still get a positive grip on the handle for mashing stiffer foods.
