Beautiful 9-1/2 inch wood handled masher for mashing up all sorts of foods. Mashers go by a variety of names including potato masher, kitchen masher, and cooking masher. We mainly use mashers for making mashed potatoes but they can be used for a variety of tasks. This masher features a mashing head that measures 3” x 4-1/2”, as well as a quaint wood handle.This is a sturdy well-made masher and we would expect nothing less from the family owned and operated Best Whips USA. Every product of theirs we have handled is well crafted and designed to last for many years to come.The masher wires are solidly set into the epoxy filled stainless steel portion of the handle making the whisk sturdy and fully sealed for sanitation and cleaning.The lacquered handle is slightly slimmer than the stainless steel handled version of the standard masher, which means it is easier for those with smaller hands to handle and it is easier to hold in a pencil style grip. However, one can still get a positive grip on the handle for mashing stiffer foods.
