Every product of theirs we have handled is well crafted and designed to last for many years to come.The masher wires are solidly set into the handle with epoxy making the masher sturdy and fully sealed for sanitation and cleaning. The handle is hollow except for approximately a 1 inch portion which is filled with the epoxy, thus the masher feels light in relation to its hefty look and commercial grade durability.The slim handle fits nicely in the hand and is easily handled with your fingers. It is also a good size for kids.
