This is a beautiful and useful set which comes in a
wood case and includes the plastic handled version of the Heavy Duty Knife and
an assortment of 15 blades, routers, and gouges. Please see the photos for a visual on the
different blade styles.
Use the set for precision cutting, trimming, and
carving of: wood, paper, stencils, card-stock, cardboard, vinyl, foam, fabric,
plastic, rubber, leather, film, photographs, cork, wax, clay, and numerous
other materials.
Included are:
- 6 blades: 1 Deburring Blades (#24), 1 Sharp Edge
Angled Blades (#19), 1 Curved Edge Blade (#22), 1 Wood Chisel Blade (#18), 1
Curved Contoured Blade (#25), 1 3-inch Whittling Blade (#26).
- 4 routers: 1 Small Round Router (#710), 1 Large Round
Router (#730), 1 Large Square Router (#740), and 1 Small V Triangle Router
(#720).
- 5 gouges: 1 Small Straight Chisel Gouge (#310), 1
Large Straight Chisel Gouge (#320), 1 Large V Gouge (#340), 1 Small U Gouge
(#360) and 1 Large U Gouge (#350).
All the blades, routers, and gouges are replaceable. To
swap out a blades simply loosen the chuck on the handle and slide the old blade
out, then slide in the new blade and tighten the chuck again. The blades are razor sharp so please be
careful.
The Knife Handle is compatible with Excel Blades: #2 /
#18 / #19 / #22 / #23 / #24 / #25 / #26 / #27 / #28.
It is also compatible with Excel Routers: #710 / #720
/ #730 / #740; and Excel Gouges: #310 / #320 / #330 / #350 / #360.
