The much loved metal puzzles known as Tavern Puzzles have been made by blacksmiths for centuries.  They are fantastic entertainment during parties not to mention good conversation pieces, and they make great gifts.

Today Tavern puzzles are handmade by Blacksmith Dennis Sucilsky of Tucker-Jones House, Inc.  Dennis is a traditional blacksmith who specializes in 18th and 19th century architectural hardware, and puzzles.  Dennis and his wife Donna run their business out of Long Island New York where they have been crafting tavern puzzles for over four decades.

Tavern Puzzles are categorized into four levels of difficulty:

Basic – Good for those who are new to theses puzzles

Intermediate – Requires more moves but still reasonable

Difficult – Multi move sequences and tighter tolerances which require more precise movements

Complex – Very difficult, not for beginners
